Naseer Ud
Din Kakar , a resident of Killa Saifullah who serves wild goats in the
mountains of Killa Saifullah , almost 35 kilometers away from the city.
“I bought
this area from a tribe in 1976 and I was hunting decades ago but I decided in
1980 to work for the safety of wild goats “
It’s never
easy to ban hunting in such a long and high land area.
“I’m paying
to many labors and security guards who are their in my mountains for the safety
of wild goats”
He was asked
did you faced any difficulties initiating this lonely ?
In early
years I confronted with many challenges
from my family and the people from my city as they criticized me too much and even
my children listened many times from them “, “ What has happened to your father
, why he is living in mountains ? Is he fine Psychologically ?
Killa
Saifullah , where Siberian birds come in winter and stay their until spring
starts and famous for other wild animals too .
Naseer told “
there are almost 200 wild goats in my mountains , climate change and recent
drought in this area has badly effected their lives “.
“ Haji says
this cost me eighty thousands to 1 Lac rupees per month and I pay all this from my own
pocket neither no one has supported me
nor I want to be supported by someone”.
Federal and
provincial government has allowed Arab Sheikhs many times to hunt in many areas
of Balochistan but Naseer told “ I’ve not permitted any one to hunt these wild
goats nor I will”.
Number of
wild animals in district have been decreased too much as per the local people
told me.

Din smiles with a shine in his eyes , I will continue my these services till my
death and even I want my son to keep it continue”.
Number of
wild goats hunters are in thousands in the district but persons like Haji are
tough even not possible to find.
His son “
I’m proud of my father and he has given more time to these wild goats even than
us but I would like to see him happy as he is now”.
Kakar has
having a small zoo where he take care of some transgenic ibex and other animals
and he spends 3 days of a week in these mountains ( in a small house
constructed by him ) and other days with family at home in city.
